Programming | Contractor

Description
Devard Web Solutions is looking for a programmer to create, update, and work with current web based applications for our growing list of clients. Projects range in scope, depth, timeline, and programming language depending on client's needs which requires both flexability and communication of organized information.

Requirements
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ Years of programming experience
• At least 2 years web application development
• Proficiency in ASP, ASP.Net, PHP, DotNetNuke,PostNuke and CSS
• Proficiency with SQL and stored procedures
• Familiarity with relational database design concepts and constructs
• Experience with Visual Studio .Net
• Strong analytical and problem-soliving skills
• Ability to assess project details and develop timelines
• Experience in testing, verification and quality assurance
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Must work well in a team environment

Designer | Contractor

Description
Devard Web Solutions is an up and coming fast paced web/graphic design & development company looking for a designer with strong skills and creative can-do attitude! This position is mostly web design and development but can include photo manipulation, logos, animation, business cards, direct mailers, brochures, posters, flyers, posters, and anything else you can think of for print.

Requirements
• BA in Graphic Design or equivalent with 2-4 years experience
• Work experience or portfolio may substitute for degree
• An artistic talent
Responsibilities
• Evaluate proposals and determine a project time estimate
• Develop creative concepts keeping time estimates and deadlines in mind
• Developing web pages with clean and search engine friendly code
• Working closely and directly with clients, other designers, programmers, and other Devard Web Solutions staff

Skills
• Must be comfortable working on PC and with the MS Office suite
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and InDesign
• Experience in Flash is strongly recommended
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript
• Knowledge of ASP/ASP.net a plus
• Ability to problem solve, prioritize and manage multiple projects on a deadline
• Excellent verbal and written communication including providing recommendations in general terms
• Team skills, initiative and a willingness to learn are a must
